Stockholm Fisk
Tonight we had a fabulous meal in a restaurant around the corner from our hotel. Incredibly good fish followed by ceme brûlée . Tomorrow we return to Härnösand .

Herring and "leverpastej" and more cheese plus yoghurt and fruits
And of course eggs, bacon and "princekorv"
They even have nutella for the croissant and lingonberries and whipped cream for the pancakes.....
Good coffe and different juices. Just like your average breakfast at home, right ! Good thing I brought stretchy jeans :-)

Birthday party
This morning we met with Jennifer and Gunnel for breakfast
In the afternoon we were invited to a birthday party in Norrtälje. Is there anyone doubting we are having a lot of fun ?! Tomorrow we go to visit Harriet near where my mother used to live . Never a dull moment for sure !
It was Esko's birthday today. He and Mona used to be neighbors of Kristina's in Härnösand . We had a delicious dinner cooked by Esko. We may get to have them come for a visit one day they say. They leave for New York on Saturday . Going just for fun for a week :-)
Next morning....fun at breakfast
Always fun with "extra dotter" Jennifer ( pronounced Yennifer ) Many friends in Rye have met Jennifer. Hopefully she will visit again with her husband and two boys :-) mamma Gunnel was also there. Pictures are not in IPad yet. Stay tuned.

Having our after five glass of wine
We have arrived safely at the Nordic C hotel and immediately had a shrimp salad (räksallad) in the bar part of the lobby . Glad the long bus ride is done. To my family : yes we stopped at Tönnebro and had an egg and ansjovis sandwich (since we had planned on shrimp salad at the hotel.)
Clever elevator
My aunt Kristina lives in an apartment building on the second floor. It's the nicest apartment with a gorgous view over the bay ( it goes out to your Baltic Sea. ) one drawback is the lack of a built in elevator. A neighbor on the third floor had this wonderful "contraption" installed. Kristina doesn't need it but it is nice to know that it is there if she ever should.
